The Beaden Family

James and Eliza Beaden (née Newson) were married in 1891 when James was working as a wheelwright. They started their married life at Moat Farm, Bredfield, before moving to a house on The Street in Melton where their fist child, Emily was born. Five more children followed; William George, Frederick James, Lily, Ida Maud and Eliza Jane. Eliza died soon after giving birth to Eliza Jane in 1904. By 1911, James was running his own wheelwright’s business with his son Frederick and William was a working as a gardener.
